Individual Crochet Sessions – St Peter's Church, Gildersome

Can't commit to the full 4-week course? No problem! Book an individual crochet session and learn at your own pace in a warm, friendly environment at St Peter's Church, Gildersome.

Choose from the following sessions:

• Week 1 – Crochet Foundations – Holding hook/yarn, tension, slip knot, chain, UK double crochet, fastening off, weaving ends. Project: Simple coaster or face cloth. (23rd July)
• Week 2 – Building Confidence – UK half treble and treble crochet, turning chains, working in rows, counting stitches, understanding abbreviations. Project: Mug cosy or simple wrist warmer. (29th July)
• Week 3 – Granny Squares – Magic ring vs chain ring, working in rounds, granny clusters, changing colours, joining yarn. Project: Classic granny square. (13th August)
• Week 4 – Your First Finished Project – Joining granny squares, simple borders, finishing techniques, basic pattern reading and troubleshooting. Project: Granny-square bag, cowl, or small pouch. (20th August)

Times are all 6.30pm – 8.30pm

A full crochet set, yarn, and refreshments are included. Suitable for complete beginners.
